Peer support for postpartum psychosis in Lancashire and CumbriaWe work in partnership with Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust to provide peer support for PP in Lancashire and Cumbria. We also provide support for other manic/psychotic illnesses around the perinatal period.

Our peer support facilitator, together with sessional peer support workers and volunteers, work both in the Chorley MBU and the Specialist Community Teams in Lancashire & South Cumbria.

We also run a monthly café group, attended by one of the team together with local trained peer support volunteers, for anyone affected by PP - whether they are still in contact with NHS services or not. You can see dates on our regularly updated peer support page (café groups section) to find peer support for PP in Lancashire and Cumbria.
