We are seeking trustees who share our commitment to improving the lives of women and families affected by postpartum psychosis and preventing maternal suicides. You do not need previous board experience — we provide induction, training and mentorship. APP is committed to building a board that reflects the diverse communities we support.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are particularly interested in candidates who can bring one or more of the following skill sets or perspectives:

  • Senior clinicians/academics, with postpartum psychosis research/care expertise, experience leading a Mother and Baby Unit, or national health policy experience
  • Philanthropy, major donor fundraising, or income generation
  • Financial management (small-charity finances, risk, sustainability)
  • Legal expertise (charity/company law, governance, regulation)
  • Diversity and inclusion in maternal mental health services
  • Health policy, influencing, media and communications
  • Cyber security, digital transformation, AI and technological innovation
  • International development or global health charity experience
