The Alex Baish Memorial Lecture 2024: a free webinar for GPs, midwives, antenatal educators and frontline health professionals.

On Wednesday 16th October, we hosted a free training webinar in collaboration with the National Centre for Mental Health (NCMH) and General Practitioners Championing Perinatal Care (GPCPC).

APP’s second annual webinar outlined the actions needed to support and protect women who develop postpartum psychosis (PP). The webinar was delivered in collaboration with The National Centre for Mental Health at Cardiff University (NCMH) and General Practitioners Championing Perinatal Mental Health Care (GPCPC).

Suicide is the leading cause of maternal death in the UK and rates are increasing nationally. During this webinar you will learn about the early symptoms of postpartum psychosis, red flags, and the actions you need to take to support and protect those who develop the condition.
